BYREBURNFOOT Country House Bed&Breakfast Location From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 44 Take the A7 north (signposted for Galashiels and scenic route to Edinburgh) Continue on A7 through Longtown, and north to the Scottish Border. Just beyond the signpost which welcomes you to Scotland and to Dumfries and Galloway, turn right, signposted to Canonbie. Continue through Canonbie and over the bridge at the traffic lights. Turn immediately left over the bridge, and continue on this road, past the sawmill on the right. The entrance gates to the house are immediately opposite the small white cottages. From the North: Leave the M74 at Junction 21, signposted for Canonbie/Kirkpatrick Fleming. Turn left , and continue through Chapelknowe and Evertown ( about 7 miles) Beyond Evertown turn right (signposted for Canonbie). At the junction cross the A7 (staggered junction) and down the hill into Canonbie. At the T-junction turn left , and continue over the bridge at the traffic lights. Turn immediately left over the bridge, and continue on this road, past the sawmill on the right. The entrance gates to the house are immediately opposite the small white cottages. From Edinburgh: Continue on the A7 beyond Langholm, for about 5 miles. Turn left down the hill into Canonbie At the T-junction turn left , and continue over the bridge at the traffic lights. Turn immediately left over the bridge, and continue on this road, past the sawmill on the right. The entrance gates to the house are immediately opposite the small white cottages.
